Bio:

Born and raised in Chicago, Zaki Hasan has spent much of his life pursuing his passion of filmmaking. To this end, he attended Columbia College Chicago, the largest film school in the midwest, where he acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Video Production in Spring of 2002. 
 
As part of Mr. Boy Productions since its inception in 1998, Zaki takes a sensitive, aesthetic approach to filmmaking, always striving to push beyond limitations of scheduling and budget. Zaki knows what he likes, and he knows what works, and he's not afraid to fight for either of those things. It this headstrong approach and attention to detail that have made him an invaluable member of the Mr. Boy team. 
 
Zaki currently resides in Northern California, where he teaches Communication & Media Studies at San Jose State University.
